First day of hw!
Simply read through each of the stat raps and circle/underline/highlight as many statistics references as you can. Please don't guess--identify those references you're confident are related to stats. Then tally these and record the total; we'll use this data for our classroom explorations.
Welcome! At this blog you can fill your craving for all of the East Hartford High School AP Statistics news, assignments, and other random info. Watch some videos, make use of the classroom resources, study a lil', and be sure to listen to the Stat Raps!

First Day Homework!
It's here! A new year, new classes, new challenges. And most importantly, a new chance for us all to start fresh and set the sky as our limit. In other words, we're going to dominate AP Stats all year and prove it on the AP Exam.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing you all for our first day! I'll be getting everything squared away, making photocopies, and all that other good stuff today (Monday); when you arrive on Tuesday we'll hop right into some statistical thinking.
Just so you know, here's the tentative plan:
Tuesday: read our first article, discuss, start thinking statistically
Wednesday: Chapter 2: What is Statistics?
Thursday: Chapter 2 Wrap-Up/Start Chapter 3
Friday: Chapter 2 QQ, Finish Chapter 3
Tuesday: Chapter 3 Wrap Up (study for your quiz!)
Of course that's just a plan, and as you'll learn about me, my plans are always tentative :)
First extra credit opportunity--if you come to school on the first day with this schedule written, as well as two other things you liked about the blog (so you have to explore the blog), you'll get 3 points on the first quiz! (And this is all or nothing--no partial EC)
See you all in a couple days! I'm pumped!
