Congratulations on completing an awesome year! It was truly a pleasure to teach this group of students this year; I appreciate all of your hard work, your commitment to the AP exam, and the fact that you dealt with me harassing you to "get focused" for 180 days. Thanks for making it fun to come to work each day; any time I may have been feeling stressed or down I was able to come to AP Stat, forget about anything negative, and just have a blast teaching you all, and it's amazing to be able to say that--so thank you. I will miss you all; seniors, I wish each of you the very best and feel comfortable knowing you are the future leaders of this country. You're gonna be awesome. Sophomores/juniors--you better pop in and see me next year! Unfortunately Ms. Bergeron's classroom is moving so I won't see you in AP Calc. :(
And everyone--have an amazing summer! You earned this!
I'll update the blog again on July 7th when the AP exam scores are released; I'll get them two days before you, so feel free to reach out if you want to know how you did.

To All Incoming AP Stat Students (2019-20 cohort):
I'm looking forward to another great year of AP Stat! The bar has been set high over the past three years, but I have no doubt we can continue our success at EHHS. I'm excited to get to know you all and get to work, but not yet--let's all enjoy some summer first!
Here's a link to the summer handout provided at the AP luncheon:
Please email me or send a Remind message with your choice of session for each day of the summer academy as soon as possible. Sessions are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Remember....
- As people start to sign up I will post the rosters for each session, linked below. (Right now it's blank).
- You must choose a session (A, B, C) for each day--so you must attend all 3 days.
- We will start learning AP Stat on day one! Come ready!
- You will have homework each night!
- We will have a quiz on the first day of school (I think); we'll talk more about this in the summer.
- You are not able to take this course if you do not attend unless you have a valid reason and you discuss this with me in advance.
- If you do have a valid reason you are still responsible to learn everything we cover independently and you will still take our quiz on the first day of school.
- "I have to work" is not a valid reason. Take off now.
- "I'm sick" is also pretty weak.
- "I'm out of the country/on vacation with family" are pretty much the only valid reasons I can think of.
