Alright, alright--we're not going to have a summer assignment. HOWEVER, don't read too much into that. This class is still going to be strenuous, it's still going to be challenging, and still going to require you to step it up. I'm just a nice guy? You also shouldn't be surprised if I drop a quiz bomb on the first day. (Maybe some mean, median, and mode, or possibly some different types of graphs?) Enjoy your summer. That's your homework. And keep checking this blog because throughout the summer, as I further develop the course and head off to some conferences, I'll keep giving you info about the year to come.
Next point of interest: the summer camp. Some of you may have received an invitation to a 3 day summer camp in August; if you did, you should go! It's going to be lots of fun--we'll be working with students from schools around the state, so you get to meet lots of new people and hang out with the ones you already know. At the same time as you're loving life, you'll enjoy some interesting seminars, a tour of UConn, and a day of mini-lessons to help prepare you for the world of AP. This was designed to help acclimate people to AP, so if you've already been there and done that, just do what you do during those 3 days.
