If you have not yet done so, please scroll down to the post below to sign up for Remind, Google Classroom, etc.
Summer Assignment Step 1: Videos + Notes
- Your first task is to watch each of the (six) video lessons and TAKE NOTES. Notes are/will be an essential resource for this class. Please get yourself a notebook and start with lesson one--these videos are the beginning of AP Stat!
- I know this is a big ask--you have to watch six 20-30 minutes videos, so again, don't procrastinate!
- All videos are linked on my YouTube page at the top right--there is a "Summer Academy 2020" playlist.
- These videos will teach the content you need to complete your summer assignment!
- Use these video lessons (and our office hours) (and Remind) to be sure you know how to do this stuff before we start class on August 31st!
- Write down any questions that come up as you watch and/or as you work on the summer assignment and bring those to these office hours! Be engaged in your viewing/note taking!
- I might check your notes (for a grade)!
- All powerpoints and docs used in the videos are linked below.
Summer Assignment Step 2: Summer Assignment!
- Now, use the notes you've taken and things you've learned to complete your summer assignment! If you're stuck on something please feel free to send any questions in Remind, or attend office hours to ask questions!
- We will have a quiz based on these types of questions at some point close to the start of school
Summer Assignment Step 3: Attend Office Hours! (Optional)
- We will have virtual office hours at the following times--log in to say hi, introduce yourself, and ask any questions you might have!
