We made it! By the time you're reading this, the AP exam has come and gone...was it everything you hoped and dreamed it would be? :-)
I AM SO PROUD OF EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. I love you all. I love this class.
We have a few more weeks left to look at how Statistics is actually used...we'll watch some videos, learn about card counting, read some articles....I'm looking forward to it.
When's the last time you heard this....NO HOMEWORK! Rest up, relax. Or, study for the rest of your AP Exams!

Tomorrow's the Big Day!
This is it! (Almost). The day we've been working toward all year will be here...tomorrow! Study, rest up, eat breakfast, then study some more. Be confident; you've worked hard all year, and you've learned a lot. Tomorrow, apply everything that you've learned.
I am so proud of everything you've (all) done this year. I have pushed (maybe forced?) you to work harder this year than any other. I've challenged you to do nonstop work, to work over your breaks, and to constantly push yourselves to do more than (maybe) you thought you could. Sometimes I probably annoyed you or even was rude. (Sorry about that). Hopefully you know it's only because I hold you all to the highest of expectations, because I believe that you are all super smart and that we can all continue to do better--no matter what our grade is or what we understand (or don't), we can all do better. Tonight, do better. Prepare, prepare, prepare. Study, study, study.
Be proud of yourself. Work as hard as you have all year for one more day! Study hard tonight. All that I ask is that you try your best--and that means putting in 153531% effort from now (whenever you read this) until tomorrow when the exam ends. After that, all that matters is that you walk out of the exam knowing you did your best, and not thinking, "I could've done better." The only way to "fail" the AP exam is to walk out knowing that you did not put forth your best.
I love this class. And I believe we can do great tomorrow. Let's get the best scores we've ever had in AP Stat at EHHS. Do great for you, for me, and for the school. :)

It's AP Exam Week!
It's finally here! This is the week we've been working towards in all of our AP classes...I know it's a busy time with college decisions/paperwork (for many of us), multiple exams, and the end of the school year approaching, but it's only 2 more weeks of hard work for our exams! Keep working hard for the next 10 days to best prepare yourself for exams!
The 2006 AP Free Response question (provided Friday) will be checked as homework tomorrow. If you lost it or were out, check out the previous post (Friday's post).
There will (most likely) be no AP Stat homework tonight, Wednesday, or Thursday. I really really really really really hope that you're using this time to study!

Only 4 more classes!
AP Psych peeps...good luck on your exam Monday! Study hard! And those of you who don't have it, study AP Stat!
4 more class periods until the AP exam! For many of you, even less, as you'll be busy with other exams throughout the week!
*Be here on Tuesday! On Tuesday we will learn one final type of test (chi-squared) that we need to know for the exam!
On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday we will use our time to review for Friday.
This weekend, please complete the 2006 AP problem provided in class. If you have the AP Psych exam, feel free to do this Monday night and show me Tuesday! For those of you who don't have AP Psych, start studying your stats! Do the mock exam, look at released items online, or try the practice test linked on the right!

TEST TOMORROW!
Tomorrow's a big day! We have our 100 POINT TEST TOMORROW! Study! Your assignment from last weekend (that counted as 5 homework assignments) is exactly what you want to study!
Also, tomorrow is Mr. Cawley's last day! :(
So tonight, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, then STUDY SOME MORE. This is your opportunity to earn a great grade in AP Stat for the 4th quarter--it starts with tomorrow's test!
I've uploaded the answer key below for you to use to STUDY!
