Prom Night + Last Weekend Before Finals!

For those of you going tonight--HAVE A BLAST! Enjoy this night with your friends and classmates; this is going to be a night you remember for the rest of your life (most likely), so make the most of it! Try not to stress or put to much pressure on yourself, just appreciate the experience, smile, and take lots of pictures! And, of course, be safe.

Everyone have an awesome weekend!

On Monday and Tuesday we'll complete a final exam review packet to get ready for Wednesday. See you there!

Tomorrow in CPU Lab!

Tomorrow all classes will be in the (library) computer labs! Be there ON TIME! (Just find me when you get there, each class is in a different lab.)
  • You will have a classwork assignment to complete that WILL count as a grade, so come ready to earn a 100%

Tomorrow is your last chance to return your AP Stat textbook to me without earning a 0 on the hw grade! Get it in!

Almost Done!

Seniors: have a blast tomorrow (and all week)! Even if you aren't gong to High Meadows, try to get together with some friends or do something fun! I know you're excited to finish high school and move on to the next chapter of your lives, but be sure to also appreciate the last couple weeks!

2. Please return your AP Stat textbook to me! You must return your book by the end of the day tomorrow!. This is your last homework grade, seniors drop it off in the am.

TEST TOMORROW, NEED MIDTERMS TOMORROW!

1.) The last test of the 4th quarter will be TOMORROW! Come ready to end with your best test grade of the year!
  • Info about the last test:
    • Last Test REVIEW KEY (Click Me!)
    • The answer key has 2 mistakes...
      • #2b = 0.077 (not choc x not choc x not choc)
      • #9b there is data (n = 500, x = 408); test statistic = t score = -2.129, pvalue = 0.983
    • The test is all multiple choice (32 questions)
    • This test will be counted as 100 points (we currently have 150 test points, and tests make up 50% of your average--so this will have a major impact on your grade!)

2.) Please return your midterm by tomorrow! This counts as a quiz grade! (I need both sections, multiple choice and free response)


3.) TEXTBOOKS and Barron's

  • Please return your AP Stat textbook to me! You must return your book by the end of the day on Tuesday, 5/28. This is your last homework grade
  • The Barron's book is yours! However, if you know you will never look at it again, I will absolutely take it back to use for next year! But, if for any reason, you want to keep it--do so! Use it in college, or just keep it because you love Stat!

4.) STAMPS....
  • We WILL have more stamps over the remainder of the quarter, but if you'd like to clean out your stuff and turn in what you have, feel free--I'll simply record your total, then you can give me any more stamps you have at the end of the year and I'll add them in
  • Feel free to recycle all old worksheets/handouts
    • I would keep your notebook and maybe your tests, but that's it

5.) Final Exam
  • Yes, we have a final
  • The final exam is 100 multiple choice questions; we will review the last two days of class before the exam
    • (It's nothing you need to be stressing about, you'll do well)
  • If you are a senior with an overall A average (for the entire year) you are exempt! (sounds like there was some confusion about this)

LAST TEST!

Glad to be back and see you all! Here are a few things we need to know for our last 10 days of class (and finals); most importantly, we have our last test coming up and it's important we come ready to ace it--read below!

1.) Last Test Info (by period):
  • Periods A, D: 
    • Finish review Wednesday
    • Test Thursday OR Friday (we'll discuss in class tomorrow)
  • Period E:
    • Test Friday
    • Period E: I will not see you tomorrow or Thursday, so it is absolutely essential that you finish the review packet in the lecture hall tomorrow. Check the key below, or I gave a couple copies to Lomani and Brandon.
  • Period H:
    • Finish review Wednesday
    • No class Thursday
    • Test Friday
