- For #1 remember that to define the sample space you are listing all possible outcomes for the event--so for 1a you're listing all possible orders of heads/tails
- For 19 remember we are sampling WITHOUT REPLACEMENT! Look at today's example about marbles for help
- For #9 you need to know about a deck of cards....here you go....this might be something to record in your notes, maybe in the front cover of your notebook or something so you have it to reference
- Standard Deck of Cards: 52 total cards
- 26 red cards
- 13 hearts
- 13 diamonds
- 26 black cards
- 13 clubs
- 13 spades
- There is one of each card for each suit: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace
- So, there are 4 total "2's", 4 "9's," 4 "Jacks," 4 "Queens," etc. (one for each suit)
Tomorrow night we will have the following homework after we learn about conditional probability:

And lastly, one of our classmates lost a necklace that's very important to them--if you see this necklace anywhere (including on a person) please let me know!
