LAST TEST!

Glad to be back and see you all! Here are a few things we need to know for our last 10 days of class (and finals); most importantly, we have our last test coming up and it's important we come ready to ace it--read below!

1.) Last Test Info (by period):
  • Periods A, D:
    • Finish review Wednesday
    • Test Thursday OR Friday (we'll discuss in class tomorrow)
  • Period E:
    • Test Friday
    • Period E: I will not see you tomorrow or Thursday, so it is absolutely essential that you finish the review packet in the lecture hall tomorrow. Check the key below, or I gave a couple copies to Lomani and Brandon.
  • Period H:
    • Finish review Wednesday
    • No class Thursday
    • Test Friday
  • Info about the last test:
    • Last Test REVIEW KEY (Click Me!)
    • The answer key has 2 mistakes...
      • #2b = 0.077 (not choc x not choc x not choc)
      • #9b there is data (n = 500, x = 408); test statistic = t score = -2.129, pvalue = 0.983
    • The test is all multiple choice (32 questions)
    • This test will be counted as 100 points (we currently have 150 test points, and tests make up 50% of your average--so this will have a major impact on your grade!)
2.) Please return your midterm by Friday! This counts as a quiz grade! (I need both sections, multiple choice and free response)

3.) TEXTBOOKS and Barron's

  • Please return your AP Stat textbook to me! You must return your book by the end of the day on Tuesday, 5/28. This is your last homework grade
  • The Barron's book is yours! However, if you know you will never look at it again, I will absolutely take it back to use for next year! But, if for any reason, you want to keep it--do so! Use it in college, or just keep it because you love Stat!

4.) STAMPS....
  • We WILL have more stamps over the remainder of the quarter, but if you'd like to clean out your stuff and turn in what you have, feel free--I'll simply record your total, then you can give me any more stamps you have at the end of the year and I'll add them in
  • Feel free to recycle all old worksheets/handouts
    • I would keep your notebook and maybe your tests, but that's it
5.) Final Exam
  • Yes, we have a final
  • The final exam is 100 multiple choice questions; we will review the last two days of class before the exam
    • (It's nothing you need to be stressing about, you'll do well)
  • If you are a senior with an overall A average (for the entire year) you are exempt! (sounds like there was some confusion about this)
What's the plan for the rest of the year? (in case you're curious)
  • Weds (5/22): Review for last test
  • Thurs (5/23): Review or last test or Stat crosswords
  • Fri (5/24): Last test for anyone who hasn't done it, Stat crosswords
