- 17: This is a tricky one!
- We actually WON'T do the hypothesis test here because TWO of the conditions fail!
- Your job is to figure out which TWO conditions fail!
- 23 = do a full hypothesis test! (hypotheses, conditions, math, conclusion)
- Also for 23, when writing your Ha, the question is asking this: Is there evidence that less than 40% of people in executive-level positions are women?
JUNIORS:
- Tomorrow in class we will be doing some hypothesis test practice! We'll have one full one proportion z test (open-ended), then we'll have some "error analysis" practice...
- You must complete this classwork and have it turned in by Friday!
- You are all more than welcome to come to E period Stats after the practice SAT to do the classwork with period E--that's totally up to you!
- Or you can do the classwork independently--whichever you prefer!
Tomorrow in class we'll do our practice, then on Thursday we'll learn a 2 tailed test!
We'll start class with our chapter 20 vocab quiz on Friday and then we'll continue with hypothesis testing as we get ready for a test next week!
