Thursday, Friday, Monday....

The AP Exam is 2 weeks from today!!!!!

*If you were absent yesterday you will have to make up our chi-squared quiz when I return--you must do so before the end of next week or you will be given a 0.**

There is no homework assigned--you should use this time to study for your AP exams (whichever is first for you!) Check out the table of tests/intervals below for some study help! There's also a list of topics to review!

Friday's Class:
  • The sub will give you a practice multiple choice test; use this class time to work through the practice test--use your notes and work together! This is some structured time for you to study!
    • Please be responsible! Don't waste this time--take advantage of the fact that you are given in-class time to study!
  • The sub should also give you the answer key to the practice test before you leave--please be sure to get this so you can check your work!
  • Take this all home and use this as a resource to get ready for the big day, May 17th!
Monday's Class:
  • The sub will give you a one page assignment--various free response dealing with data collection.
  • Work independently, with a partner, or in small groups to complete these--be sure to write your answers just as you would on the exam!
    • You should finish within about 20-25 minutes.
  • When you finish the sub has the scoring rubrics--use these to score your responses and take some notes!
  • You should finish all of this with time left in the period. Use any remaining class time to study.
  • Psych Peeps: Use any extra class time to study for your exam!
Tuesday's Class:
  • I'll be back! We'll start our review--we have 7 class days to review before our exam.
  • We'll start with a stamp and some probability review. See you there!

Table of Tests/Intervals: The formulas are not provided; although we don't need to show these for a free response, we do need to know all this stuff--so one additional way to study is to copy all this information into your notes (if you copy it down you will retain it; if you just look at the pictures, you will not.) Then, go back through your notes and provide all of the missing formulas!


More Topics Related to Hypothesis Tests/Confidence Interval To Study:
  • Interpret the meaning of the confidence level
  • Know how changes in sample size and confidence level affect the margin of error and the width of an interval
  • Know how changes in sample size affect the standard deviation/standard error
  • Find the value of a point estimate (the sample statistic) given the interval
  • Find the margin of error given the interval
  • Calculate margin of error given the sample data
