Tuesday HW

We're almost there--we'll have one or two more homeworks after tonight! We'll have one homework assigned after #2 below. We'll have a free response assigned Thursday and due the following Tuesday, and maybe one more after that.

1.) Tomorrow we will start class with a quiz on chi-squared!

  • STUDY! Do not show up unprepared! Quiz = 1 free response + 4 multiple choice

    • Look over your chi-squared notes
    • Review the chi-squared MC homework from the weekend and check your answers (below)
    • Review the 2017 Free Response we had last week for homework
    • Try the 2013 Free Response (below, or this is on the back of the 2017 free response we had for homework last week)

    • Here's the link to the 2013 scoring rubric so you can check your work:
    • Look at some odd practice problems in chapter 26 of your textbook! (use odds so you can check your answers in the back of the book)
2.) Complete the linear regression review questions on separate paper: this will be checked on Thursday

  • Complete questions 1-10 on separate paper--use your notes from Unit 2! The more effort you put into this, the more you're studying for your exam!

Here are the answers to the Chi Squared MC from this past weekend:

    • 30.) In order to plan.... E
    • 11.) The following two-way table....B
