Weekend = Take Home Quiz

This weekend please complete the Linear Regression Take Home Quiz provided in class (yesterday)! The take home quiz is entirely multiple choice--the first attachment I sent via Remind was incorrect (sorry)!
  • This is your first question of the second quarter--get an A!
  • Use your notes and other resources to help with anything you're stuck/confused on!
    • Not only is this an opportunity to ace a quiz, but it's great review for our upcoming unit test (which is less than 2 weeks away!)
  • Be sure to show all work for any questions marked with a ** or you will not receive credit for those questions!
  • If you need a copy you can either email me (carofano.fm@easthartford.org) or check Remind--I just sent out the attachment. The take home quiz is entirely multiple choice--the first attachment I sent via Remind was incorrect (sorry)!

Yesterday/Today's Class Recap:

    • Leverage--what is it?

On Monday in class we'll get back to our chapter 9 notes, and discuss lots of vocab--leverage, influential point, outliers, residual--and we'll start to discuss how a point could potentially affect the slope, intercept, and correlation for an association/LSRL. Here's the tentative plan in case you're curious:

  • Tuesday (11/6): No school
  • Wednesday (11/7): Practice with Influential Points
