Snow Day! (HW)

I can only stay until 2:40 tomorrow due to a doctor's appointment.

I will be after school on Thursday until 3:15/3:30. You are invited to come by to:
1.) Complete your Thursday hw and ask any questions that come up!
2.) Work through a unit review to prepare for our upcoming test.
3.) Ask/discuss any questions you have about hypothesis tests/confidence intervals to prepare for our test!

Let's WORK to ace our upcoming unit test on confidence intervals and hypothesis tests! Success is all about being willing to put in the work to maximize your potential--I know every one of you has the ability to make yourself proud and earn a qualifying score in May (and to ace our upcoming test), but we have to be willing to push ourselves, both inside the classroom and out.

That "push yourself" starts now. Study a little each day. Use time tomorrow if we're off again to study some more. Use the resources provided; start by completing the multiple choice we tackled in groups on Friday (and checking your answers below), and doing your homework. Then, if you're struggling or have questions you want answered, come by after school Wednesday to review, or work with the tutors in the Math Lab (Tues-Thursday A-G period).

Tonight's Homework:

For the context provided in class please answer the questions shown (in color) on the image below:

Our test will have to be moved so we can fully cover chapter 21. If there is a snow day here is the plan--please vote on the poll (top right of blog) to determine the date of our test.

Tuesday (Snow Day): STUDY!
  • Do your homework--treat it like a practice quiz/test! Try without your notes, then use your notes to perfect your response! "You play how you practice."
  • Complete the multiple choice classwork from Friday (independently) and check your answers below

Thursday (3/15): Chapter 21 (Types of Error and Power)
