  • For 11a (when writing your hypotheses) think about this: if this person thinks that they can use "dowsing" to find water more effectively, would the proportion of wells that are drilled and find adequate water be higher or lower (or different) than 30%?

Tomorrow in class we'll start to get into the mathematics of hypothesis testing, and maybe into our conclusions. On Monday we'll finish up with any additional notes, and then we'll spend some time practicing this stuff before a vocab and math quiz. (Likely next Thursday?). Then we'll learn a little more about hypothesis testing and aim for a test on all of confidence intervals and hypothesis tests on Thursday, March 15th (two weeks from today).

Have a great Thursday! See you all tomorrow!
