April Break!

First and foremost, I hope you have an amazing week! Enjoy some time with family and friends; rest, relax, and do something fun. Use this opportunity to recharge your batteries so you can come back refreshed and ready to give your best effort of the year as we move through the final stretch toward our AP exam.

Over April break you must complete the review take home test (provided in class)! Ace this thing!

  • Be sure to get this done! This is a major grade; it's essential you put in max effort. Use your notes, use online resources, and use your textbook to figure all this out!
    • The more effort you put into the take home test the more you're preparing for the AP exam!
  • If you were absent Thursday/Friday you must email me for a copy of the take home test. You are expected to be responsible and get this done over break.
  • The take home test is due at the start of class the Monday we return from break.
    • If you do not have it you will lose 15 points for each day it is late.
    • No tests will be accepted after Friday, 4/20.
April Break Review Session: Wednesday (4/11) from 10:00-1:30
  • You must bring your NOTEBOOK and graphing CALCULATOR to the session
    • You are coming to work with your classmates to figure out this test, not to have someone tell you what to do (that won't happen on the exam)! This means you'll need your notes!
    • Be on time, and come ready to work. I know it's break, but this session is about working hard, not BSing with your friends. You can do that the rest of break.

    • We will meet in Mr. Bagley's room (room 208)
      • Be respectful of your surroundings. This isn't my stuff. No messing with any of the science equipment, and no making a mess. The room should look better than it did when we started.
    • We will have lunch (hopefully pizza) in the afternoon.
      • Eat breakfast and feel free to bring a snack. We won't be eating until after noon--first we have to get a bunch of work done.
      • It might also be a good idea to bring a water bottle/beverage of some kind--I'm not sure what the drink situation will be.
    • Keep me updated if anything changes about your availability (Remind or email).
      • I hope to see you there! But if for some reason you can't come, please send me a message in advance.
      • OR, if you didn't think you'd be able to attend but now you can, you're welcome--again, just send me a message as soon as you can.
      • The only thing that is unacceptable is to say you will be here and then not show up. Don't do that.
    • Email/Remind me if you have any questions.

Mandatory Meeting for All AP Students: Thursday, 4/19
    • Don't forget, we have a mandatory meeting the Thursday after break @ 2:15 in the cafe!
    • Late students will not be admitted.
      • Latecomers may not be admitted and will be subject to administrative consequences.
    • What to bring:
      • Your ID
      • #2 pencil
      • Knowledge of your...
        • Address, Phone #, etc.
        • Social Security # is optional
See you Wednesday or after break!
