Thursday HW!

Thursday homework:

• Please complete the 2 Sample T practice ("Ladies First?" context and "Voles" context) provided in class or below. 
• This will be checked on Friday in class (and a key will be provided), but....
• There is an error in the "voles question"--the sample size for the "not genetically altered" group is 19, not 20! (Sorry about that!)
• For question #4 of the "Ladies First?" context you are expected to conduct a full 2 sample T test (but you have already checked the conditions above).

Extra Credit Stamp Opportunity: DUE TOMORROW

• If you complete the tables and questions provided in class Tuesday (about p-values and t*) you can earn additional stamps--I'll check this stuff on Friday while you work in groups!

If you were absent Monday and/or Tuesday you need to get a classmates' notes about the t-distribution--there a bunch of characteristics we need to know! 

• Or, read about this on pages 522-525 (start at "Gosset's t")

If you were out yesterday/today we worked through a 2 sample t interval and a 2 sample t-test using some released free response questions--you'll want to get these examples from a classmate as well!
